Polish Post message
Dear Customers from the United States of America,
As of Monday, August 25, 2020, Poczta Polska (Polish Post) is temporarily limiting the acceptance of parcels containing goods destined for the United States. This decision was forced by restrictions imposed by the US authorities and air carriers, which prevent deliveries.
The restriction applies to the following parcels containing goods (until further notice):
postal parcels, including those with declared value,
letter items with declared value,
unregistered and registered letter items,
Global Ekspres shipments,
EMS shipments
The following are still permitted:
unregistered letter items and registered mail without goods (permissible contents are only correspondence and documents),
Similar restrictions have been introduced by many other postal administrations in Europe.
Poczta Polska will immediately resume accepting parcels to the US as soon as the situation allows. We are constantly monitoring developments and will inform you of any changes.
We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience – they are beyond the control of Poczta Polska.
